i suffer from oily roots and dry ends, making it super hard to find a product that hydrates my hair without weighing it down. behold: nourishing moisture oil treatment- my holy grail hair product. this oil does it all- detangles, adds shine, softens, hydrates, tames frizz, nourishes and most importantly, it doesn’t weigh down my long hair!

price: $$ – $$$
ulta has a 1 oz travel size available which falls in the lower end of my $$ category- i suggest buying this one first to try it out.
my price key is at the bottom of this post or you can click this link to view the current price on ulta’s website.
what it does
how to use it
pour a bit in your palms and rub together (start with a small amount, you can always add more if you need it)
work into towel-dried hair, focusing on your ends
comb through for even distribution
i’ve never had a problem with this product weighing down my hair but i make sure to keep it away from my roots to be safe.
my two cons on this are typically my deal-breakers, however, i love this stuff so much that i continue to buy it. i don’t really like the smell but all of the other reviews i have read claim that the smell is great, so maybe it’s just me? the price is a bit much but the travel size lasts me a really long time considering the length of my hair and how often i use it. as for it’s “repairing” claims- i haven’t found that to be true. although it makes my hair feel amazing when i use it, my hair definitely knows when the bottle has been empty for a week or two.
